The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or before the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High [El Elyon] shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty [El Shaddai].
I will say of the LORD [Yahweh], He is my refuge and my fortress: my God [Elohim]; in Him will I trust.
Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings shall I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler.

  1. Of course you refer to the fact that God has plans for everyone even before they are born. In that way, we are all known to Him before we were even conceived. Is that right?

    1. Absolutely!
We know that Jesus’ spirit pre-existed with God before He was born to Mary in the earth/physical realm.
Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

We also have confirmation in Jeremiah that He knew us even before we were conceived.
I think we sometimes have problem understanding this because we often forget that things exist in the spiritual realm before they’re manifested in the physical/earthly realm (the physical is a reflection of the spiritual).

      1. That is a very interesting way of putting things. It is true that all that has happened, or will happen, is already planned by God and He knows the outcome of everything.

He also knows of the birth, life, and death of every soul, past, present, and future. This may be hard for some to understand, but we believe that it is true nonetheless! Great comment!!

    1. Thank you Ufuomaee.
Blessings & strength as you continue to share and live this glorious gospel of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!

    1. Hi Dawn,
I absolutely am – but only via u-tube. I’ve quoted Bill on here several times.
I’m only familiar with Randy Clark through the conferences he’s ministered at with Bill.

What are you thoughts on Bill and Bethel.

      1. I probably don’t agree with everything, but that’s healthy, right? Kris Valleton is very instructive and encouraging, as is Bill. Also Danny Silk. Right now, our worship leader is at one of their conference out in CA. I am appreciative of their emphasis on authentic relationship with Jesus, faithfulness, and the presence (intimacy) with God.

      2. You know, I actually wrote and removed from my previous comment that I do not agree with everything Bill teaches. One of my mentors was highly critical of him (in a specific area) but has since simmered down.
I agree and believe it’s definitely healthy to harmonize on the things we agree on, and do not allow the disagreements to come between us or to prevent us from listening. There’s always something we can learn.

[Just yesterday I was sharing with IB that I like Joel Osteen. It doesn’t mean I agree with everything or that I believe he could broaden his range of teaching…but I do find much value in some of the things he teaches – I call it practical Christianity…because it’s very easy to forget.]

I like Kris as well. I am not familiar with Danny Silk. Will have to look him up. And to be honest, I disagree even more with Randy Clark than I do Bill.
