[Our] life is a projection of what [we] truly believe. [Our] heart for people can be discerned. [Our] passion for the Word can be discerned. [Our] confidence can be discerned. [Our] authority can be discerned.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)
When we have truly been with Jesus, people will see the difference. The more time [we] spend with Jesus the more [our] heart will reflect His heart, [our] thoughts will mirror His thoughts and [our] actions will be born of His actions.
We are all acting on what we believe. Sometimes it is helpful to review the past few days of [our] life and replay [our] words, thoughts and actions. What do [we] truly believe? The results of that review may motivate [us] to spend more time with Jesus.
